Ground Truthing is the scientific 'down to earth'... or 'back to earth' bit of computer modelling study.
It entails visits to real

sites and data being taken, in-situ, of relative information.
This helps to prevent a model (that is just a visualised best-fit prediction) from being mistakingly seen and

beleived as the actual real thing. It may well be the 'possible' thing, it may well be erronous.
It will be interesting to see the end results of this endevour, but it

would be great to know the inputs that were fed into the software algorithms.
