Dubai's hotel beneath the Gulf.
Expected to open in 2008, Crescent Hydropolis Resorts, a German Company, has
created this project of 500 watertight rooms, connected to a landing station by tunnels.
Claimed to be the first underwater hotel (not habitat).

At first my reaction was that this was based on a novelty factor (I expect for most guests it will be), but for the developers, it should also answer
problems of human settle ments in otherwise inhospitable (to humans) environments.
Would think a documentary on this project would be most interesting.
The
down side, looser side to these projects is the damage done and displacement of local natural inhabitants for the sake of human exploration and exploitation.
